The main areas of AREA Nepal are agriculture development and research, environment conservation, infrastructure development, Issue based advocacy for Women, Children, poor, Dalit and ethnic. It was registered in District Administration Office, Dolakha in 2000 AD as an independent, non-profit, non-government and non-political social organization by a group of development activist of multi disciplinary professionals.
