Mr. Bom Bahadur Thapa, Senior Horticulture Specialist was participated in International training on Economic Activation was conducted by International Urban Training Center (IUTC) Korea in collaboration with UN-HABITAT for the period of 9 days from April 6th to 14th 2016. Basically, this training was concentrated on production technology of some high value horticultural crops and green house technology.
It is an opportunity to participate in this program and knowledge and exposure gained from this program could materialized in our program. Due to lack of agricultural labor force, we can change our production technology into control condition.
Beside theoretical session of discussion, we visited various sites of production field under greenhouse technology like strawberry, asparagus, blueberry, cut flowers, potato and nursery. The nursery, Strawberry and potato production technology were really interesting and not very difficult to replicate in our context.
